Year 6 Intervention Specialist - SATs Focus

Aspire People is proud to be supporting a well‑established primary school in North Manchester that is seeking an experienced Year 6 Intervention Specialist to support pupils in the lead‑up to SATs.

This role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who thrives on targeted academic support and wants to make a meaningful impact at a crucial stage of a child's education.

You will work closely with the Year 6 teaching team to deliver structured, high‑impact interventions aimed at boosting confidence and attainment.

• Delivering small‑group and 1:1 interventions in Maths and English
• Supporting pupils with SATs preparation and exam readiness
• Using data and teacher guidance to target learning gaps
• Encouraging confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset
• Liaising closely with class teachers and senior leaders

• Has recent experience working in Year 6
• Confident delivering structured interventions
• Strong understanding of SATs expectations
• Calm, patient, and encouraging
• Available to start ASAP
