Teaching Assistant

Primary School Teaching Assistant Required

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in the Wigan area. This role is for 5 days a week, and is to start as soon as possible on an ongoing basis. It is assisting a Year 6 pupil with SEN in the morning and assist in a KS1 class in the afternoon.

The ideal candidate will have previous Teaching Assistant experience.

In order to be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 1, 2 or
  3)
• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous Teaching Assistant experience in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous Early Years, KS1 OR KS2 experience
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
