SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: per day
Location: Littleborough
Contract: (Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Long-term)
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
- Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
- Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
- Proven experience working with children with SEN
- Strong understanding of different SEN needs and support strategies
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN (desirable)
- Must include all relevant experience

- Any relevant qualifications, training, or certifications
