A welcoming secondary school in Greater Manchester is seeking an enthusiastic ECT History or Geography Teacher to join its Humanities faculty from January 2026
.
This full-time role involves teaching History or Geography across KS3KS4 with a strong focus on developing subject knowledge and classroom practice.
About the SchoolThe school educates approximately 1200 students and is Ofsted rated Good with a supportive leadership team and a strong emphasis on staff development. Humanities is a well-established and collaborative department.
We are looking for someone who- Holds a relevant Humanities degree
- Has QTS or is completing training
- Is enthusiastic and well organised
- Is keen to learn from experienced colleagues
- Builds positive relationships with students
