Early Years Teaching Assistant — Manchesterhen, Greater Manchester
We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Early Years Teaching Assistant to join Crown Street Primary School. In this rewarding role, you will support Early Years pupils with a variety of learning needs, working alongside teachers to provide one‑on‑one or small group support and enable students to reach their full potential. The position also involves working within our after‑school club. Crown Street Primary School is located in the Laurus Trust and offers a cutting‑edge SEND provision.

- Contract type: Permanent
- Hours: 30 hours per week (term‑time basis) – 5‑day pattern; 11:30 quickly – 5:30pm during Reception classroom and after‑school club.
- Salary: £19,954 - £20,945 (actual salary)
- Start date: 9th February 2026

- Provide high standards of care and play opportunities for children in a safe, secure, and stimulating kids‑club environment.
- rpmarge a range of suitable learning and play activities that enhance teaching and learning for Early Years pupils within the classroom spal.
- Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period, both in the dining area and during playground activities.
- Work with teachers to deliver a supportive Early Years curriculum that meets the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND.
- Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or Education is essential.
- Previous experience working with children is essential.
- Good knowledge and understanding of play and how to create opportunities for a wide range of ages and interests.

Friday 16th January 2026 (subject to change) - Process: short observation of a fine‑motor activity with a small group ofooq Reception children, followed by a formal interview.
