GSL Education Manchester is currently recruiting on behalf of a thriving and well-respected primary school in Wythenshawe that is seeking a passionate and confident Lower KS2 Teacher to join their team from February half term 2026 through to July 2026

About the RoleYou will take full class responsibility for a settled Year 3 class, working closely with your parallel class teacher to plan engaging lessons that inspire curiosity, independence, and a love of learning. You’ll be joining a phase team that shares resources, supports each other, and celebrates success together.
Your Responsibilities:Deliver high-quality, creative lessons across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL and SEND pupils
Build a positive classroom climate with clear routines and high expectations
Monitor and assess progress using a range of strategies and tools
Develop strong, professional relationships with families and the wider community
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment opportunities and whole-school initiatives
What We’re Looking For:A qualified teacher (QTS) with recent experience in Lower Key Stage 2
Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the KS2 curriculum
Confident behaviour management skills and the ability to foster high levels of engagement
A reflective, enthusiastic, and collaborative team player
Commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed
Please note: All applicants must have a strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection. A fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service and two recent professional references are required.
