Production Apprenticeship – Level 3 – Children’s & Education – Salford – EXTEND
Contract Type: Fixed‑Term Apprenticeship, full‑time for 13 months.
Department: BBC Children’s & Education Salford.
Location: Salford – Quay House.
Salary: £22,950.

YourKey Responsibilities And Impact
- Support shoots, capturing behind‑the‑scenes and social content.
- Help develop ideas for You Tube spin‑offs, CBBC games and digital campaigns.
- Assist with research, scripting and creation of web pages for BBC Bitesize and BBC Teach.
- Contribute to planning and logistics for projects such as 500 Words and the Bitesize Schools Tour.
- Learn scheduling content and support production across social media platforms (Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube).

- Creativity, enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn.
This scheme is aimed at non‑graduates. If you have a degree, consider applying for other BBC jobs or apprenticeships.
Eligibility Criteria- Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship starts in September 2026.
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last 3 years before the start of the apprenticeship.
- Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the apprenticeship’s duration.
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
- No prior learning required.
- Identify as disabled under the Equality Act (2010).
