Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:15am-4:00pm - 2 Days Teaching / 3 Days Curriculum

Reeson Education is seeking a motivated and adaptable Teacher to join an innovative special education provision in Greater Manchester. This exciting role combines direct classroom teaching with a dedicated focus on curriculum development, making it ideal for a teacher who wants to make an impact in the classroom while shaping learning across the provision.
As a Teacher
, you will teach Health & Social Care classes two days per week, with one day allocated for planning, preparation, and assessment (PPA), and spend the remaining three days supporting curriculum development and delivery across other subjects.
- Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality lessons as a Teacher in Health & Social Care
- Plan, prepare, and assess lessons, ensuring effective learning outcomes
- Support curriculum implementation and development across multiple subjects
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain consistency and high expectations
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of SEND, SEMH, and other complex learners
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to staff and leadership
- Lead or support CPD sessions related to curriculum and teaching
- Model excellent professional practice and pedagogy
- Liaise with staff, SEND leads, and external professionals to ensure curriculum accessibility
- Maintain accurate planning and curriculum documentation
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven teaching experience
- Strong understanding of curriculum design, progression, and assessment
- Ability to teach effectively across multiple subjects and year groups as a Teacher
- Excellent organisational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Commitment to safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and child-centred education
- Solution-focused approach with ability to balance classroom and curriculum responsibilities as a Teacher
- Blend classroom teaching impact with curriculum leadership
