Are you a talented and motivated Graduate Landscape Architect looking for an engaging and supportive working environment delivering a diverse range of projects?

Working in our studio space in Manchester, this is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Landscape Architect to be involved in a diverse range of challenging and diverse projects across the UK. Projects include public realm, green infrastructure, residential, commercial, educational, heritage and infrastructure schemes. The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the design process, from concept design through to completion.

You will have a demonstrate passion for Landscape Architecture, have a creative flair, an excellent design ability, an ability to deliver innovative solutions and excellent graphic and communication skills.

You will be working with an enthusiastic team of Landscape Architects, and alongside our Urban Design, Landscape Planning, Biodiversity Net Gain, Arboriculture, and Ecology teams.

• Production of landscape design work and drawings, including feasibilities, high-level concepts, landscape masterplans, detailed construction and planting plans, illustrations and visualisations through all the Landscape Institute / RIBA work stages to a high standard
• Preparation of written and graphic materials for design and assessment reports
• Participation in discussions with clients, other consultants and disciplines, and stakeholders
• Work with the wider landscape team to develop innovative design solutions for a range of project types across the country
• Attend project meetings, design reviews and client workshops

• Masters/Post-Graduate degree from a Landscape Institute accredited course
• Knowledge and experience in the design and delivery of landscape projects in the UK
• Understanding of current Planning and Environmental legislation
• Experience in delivering projects across a variety of sectors
• Engagement with clients, other consultants, in-house disciplines, and stakeholders
• Strong CAD, graphic (Adobe Creative Suite) and Autodesk packages
• Hand drawn sketching capability
• A creative and an inspiring approach
• A keen interest in the landscape and environment
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to manage their own workload/minimal supervision required
• An ability to work under pressure
• An enthusiastic and flexible approach to work
• Strong written and communication skills
• Diligent, proactive and motivated
• Ability to work under your own initiative and as part of a team
• Delivery of high quality and robust outputs

• Working towards Chartership with the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
• 1-2 years’ experience within the industry/practice
• Hold a full UK driving licence
