Senior CDM Principal Designer - Manchester

A large architectural practice with multiple UK offices are seeking a Senior CDM Principal Designer to join their Manchester studio. The practice deliver complex commercial, residential, education and mixed-use schemes and provide in-house Principal Designer services alongside their architectural offering.

Due to continued project wins, the practice are looking to appoint a Senior CDM Principal Designer to support design teams and clients from concept through to construction.

The Senior CDM Principal Designer Role

The appointed Senior CDM Principal Designer will work closely with architects and external consultants to ensure CDM compliance is embedded throughout the design process.

This is a strong opportunity for a Senior CDM Principal Designer who enjoys working within an architectural environment and influencing design safety at an early stage.

Duties of the Senior CDM Principal Designer to include:

· Acting as Principal Designer under CDM 2015

· Advising clients on CDM duties

· Coordinating designers to manage and reduce risk

· Reviewing pre-construction information

· Attending internal and external design meetings

The Person ?

The successful Senior CDM Principal Designer will have a strong understanding of CDM regulations and experience working closely with design teams.
