Design Manager (Junior to Mid-Level)

We’re pleased to once again be partnering with one of Manchester’s most respected and forward-thinking developers as they look to appoint Design Manager to join their growing team. Renowned for delivering high-profile, design-led projects across Manchester city centre and beyond, this developer is known for quality, attention to detail and ambitious placemaking, with a portfolio spanning residential, mixed-use and large-scale regeneration schemes.

As a Design Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the coordination, development and delivery of design information from early concept stages through to construction. Working closely with senior colleagues, you’ll collaborate across internal development teams and liaise with external consultants and contractors to help ensure design intent, quality and technical standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

• Supporting design coordination across one or more complex schemes
• Assisting with technical and quality management to uphold best-in-class standards
• Coordinating design information across multidisciplinary teams
• Engaging with consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders
• Providing design support during construction to help maintain design integrity on site

This opportunity would suit someone from an architectural or design background
, with experience working on UK residential or mixed-use developments, who is keen to progress their career within a high-quality developer environment.

You may already be working in an Assistant Design Manager
, Design Manager
, Architect
, Architectural Technologist or similar role and now be looking to take the next step.
Client-side experience would be highly advantageous and is considered an excellent fit for this role.

• Exposure to interior design or coordination
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• A genuine interest in contributing to design-led, city-shaping projects
