Position: Product Designer (UX)

Our client, a leading asset manager, is recruiting a Product Designer on a 12‑month contract to enhance their website. This role focuses on content design, user experience, and accessibility with onsite work in Manchester (3 days per week).

Responsibilities
  • Understand government content guidelines (e.g., ) and create accessible writing.
  • Use Design Systems such as Storybook and Figma to build consistent prototypes and visual designs.
  • Work with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS.
  • Translate complex financial or investment information into clear plain English.
  • Create microcopy, conversational interfaces, product marketing materials, and instructional content in an adaptable tone.
  • Assist in research & discovery: research plans, discussion guides, prototypes, insights synthesis.
  • Own design production and sign‑off process, collaborating with product, marketing, dev, compliance.
  • Engage with product managers, marketers, UX designers, developers, and subject‑matter experts across legal, compliance, strategy, and customer services.
  • Apply UX principles, Double Diamond process, and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Produce designs in Figma, the primary design tool.
