This position will be responsible for all aspects of customer service support for Armstrong Fluid Technology’s Continental Europe Business, offering a high standard of customer service and maintaining excellent communication with customers while ensuring a proactive, efficient response to their needs.
As an interface between customers, sales, production, and logistics, the responsibilities include the following:
Order Entry- Entering customer orders (checking on customer accounts, item codes, prices, stock, lead time, and delivery time)
- Creating and confirming order acknowledgments
- Supporting the Finance department in following overdue invoices
- Organizing deliveries and collections with forwarders
- You are business fluent in English and German (written and spoken)
- French and any other language skills are desirable
- Previous experience in Customer Service and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive, flexible, and ‘right-first-time’ approach
- Knowledge of import/export rules and customs regulations
- Previous experience in the HVAC business would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Skilful operation with standard Microsoft Office applications
