JDR Recruitment are recruiting a customer service representative for their client in WA2.

Location: Warrington WA2

Salary: £27,500 per annum

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

Contract type: Permanent

Hybrid role: 2 days a week from home, after probation

The Role:
  • Process quotes and sample requests for Anderson products for existing and potential new customers
  • Sets up new Customer Accounts working closely with Regional Sales Managers and Finance team
  • Responsible for order entry manually and through EDI; resolves pricing discrepancies, updates order delivery dates based on availability and customer credit status, and updates customers and necessary internal teams of changes when needed
  • Process customer expedites and work cross-functionally to ensure best delivery dates to customers
  • Respond daily to customer inquiries in a timely fashion to ensure satisfaction with the company and its products and services, determining the best method to resolve any problems and maintaining adherence to company policies
  • Process customer complaints and Return Material Authorization (RMA) forms, receiving initial requests and documenting complaints, following up regularly to ensure resolution
  • Provide back-up support for Web Chat and Technical Support team when needed
  • Ensure that all customer orders and complaints are in alignment with agreed terms and conditions of sale
  • Build relationships at all levels within the organization
  • Support Regional Sales Managers with inquiries, escalations, quotes, and pricing as needed
  • Perform other related duties as required
Experience /

Skills Required:
  • Strong typing and document production skills
  • Minimum of 4 GCSE's (or equivalent) including Maths and English
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Customer, Service/Inside Sales role
  • Experience with lead follow up and engaged customer support
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally someone who can speak a second language (German, French or Italian) and knowledge of international shipping process and documentation
