Ticketing Executive

Hours:

PART TIME 16-22.5 hours per week

Salary: £29,500 pro rata

A premium travel business based in Greater Manchester is seeking an experienced Ticketing Executive to join its air operations team on a part timer basis. This is a key role supporting airline bookings and ticketing, ideal for someone with strong GDS experience (preferably Galileo but open) and excellent attention to detail.

The Role as a Ticketing Executive

You will be responsible for issuing and reissuing airline tickets, managing GDS queues, and handling schedule changes, cancellations, and amendments. Working closely with airline partners and internal teams, you will help ensure booking accuracy, meet ticketing deadlines, and minimise financial loss.

Key Responsibilities as a Ticketing Executive

Issue and reissue net and published fare tickets using Galileo
Manage GDS queues, including schedule changes and cancellations
Interpret and apply airline fare rules and ticketing policies
Maintain ticketing control, reports, and deadlines
Process refunds and returns using BSP knowledge
Resolve duplicated bookings and complex ticketing queries
Provide expert air support to internal teams
Offer out-of-hours or weekend support on a rota basis when required

About You as a Ticketing Executive

Proven GDS ticketing and reissuing experience (preferably Galileo but open)
Strong knowledge of airline fare rules and ticketing procedures
At least 2 years' experience in an airline reservations or ticketing role
Highly organised, accurate, and able to work under pressure
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
