Music and Sound Design Taster

Overview

The current opportunity is available for current Manchester Met students, to apply you must be based in the UK for the duration of the role. The Faculty Outreach team are seeking to recruit 2x students currently studying Music and Sound Design to support with the Music and Sound Design Taster Day. • Must be a current Manchester Metropolitan University student based in the United Kingdom.
• Must be studying Music and Sound Design.
• Must be confident when working with groups.
• Must have general knowledge of Information and Guidance (IAG) and be able to share own experiences.

• Passionate about helping young people discover higher education opportunities and options available.

The aim of the taster day is to give Year 12 and Year 13 students, who are interested in studying a creative and/or digital subject at university, an insight into the careers within the industry and the range of creative and digital courses available at university to help students make more informed choices.

• Support the Music and Sound Design Taster Day by engaging with Year 12 and Year 13 students.
• Provide a positive and informative perspective on all aspects of studying at Manchester Met and being part of the Manchester Met University community.
