Cay Play Studios is growing fast and we are looking for someone who can produce a high volume of high quality environment and prop assets for our live Early Access title, Water Park Simulator. This is not AAA hyper realism. It is semi realistic. Clean. Believable. Optimized. Production focused.
This role starts as a 3 month contract with the potential to convert into a full time position based on performance and fit.
You would be joining a team that moves quickly and ships consistently. We need someone who understands how to deliver game ready assets without endless polish cycles.
What you will actually be doing:- Creating a large volume of environment and prop assets
- Taking props from modeling to texturing to full Unity setup
- Working with texture atlases and trim sheets, both existing and new
- Setting up prefabs independently in Unity including materials, LOD groups, colliders, and import settings
- Optimizing for memory and performance budgets
- Maintaining visual consistency while working at production speed
- Collaborating closely with technical artists
- Supporting a live Early Access project with ongoing content drops
- Strong understanding of Unity optimization, LODs, polycount, texture budgets
- Confident in prefab setup and Unity workflows
- Experience using and building trim sheets and atlases
- Strong eye for scale and proportion
- Proactive mindset. You can work from tasks but also think independently
- Comfortable with technical feedback and iteration
- Blender or another professional 3D package experience
- Ability to texture assets independently
- Worked on console projects
- Understand console performance constraints
- Experience with simulator or tycoon style games
