Overview

CV Screen is recruiting for a Junior Fashion Designer to join a fast-growing fashion supplier based in Salford, Greater Manchester
. This is an exciting opportunity for an early-career designer to work within a trend-led, fast-paced womenswear environment
, supporting collections for well-known UK high street retailers. The role offers hands‑on exposure across the full design lifecycle, from trend research through to sampling and customer presentations. You’ll be working closely with an experienced design team in a commercial setting where creativity, speed, and attention to detail are key. The salary is up to £30,000
, depending on experience.

• Research current and emerging fashion trends, colours, fabrics, and silhouettes

• Create mood boards and CAD ranges aligned to seasonal themes

• Support the development of samples, fits, and proto@type garments

• Liaise with sales, buying, and production teams to meet commercial requirements

• Assist with showroom preparation and customer meetings

• Previous experience or placement within a fashion supplier or fast-fashion brand

• Strong CAD skills with an eye for colour, fabric, and trend

• Commercial awareness and a proactive, team-focused approach

• Up to £30,000 depending on experience

• Full-time, permanent role
