You Tube & Digital Media Specialist – Manchester

We’re looking for a talented and motivated individual to help grow and scale our You Tube channel while supporting our broader social media presence. This is a hands‑on role requiring creativity, technical skill, and strategic thinking. The ideal candidate is based in Manchester (or willing to commute) and thrives in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

• Plan, create, edit, and optimise You Tube videos for audience growth
• Develop and implement strategies to increase subscribers, views, and engagement
• Collaborate on content ideas, scripts, and scheduling to align with brand goals
• Manage and post content across other social media platforms (Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, etc.)
• Monitor analytics and provide insights for continual improvement
• Stay up‑to‑date with You Tube and social media trends, algorithms, and best practices

• Proficiency in Video Production and Video Editing to create professional, engaging, and informative digital content
• Strong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and represent the brand online
• Experience in Marketing and You Tube channel management, including optimisation, analytics, and audience engagement
• Familiarity with social media trends and strategies to improve content reach and build an active online community
• Attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Knowledge of digital tools and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
• Interest or experience in early years education or childcare is a strong advantage
• Degree in Media Production, Digital Marketing, Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory

• Proven experience in You Tube content creation and channel growth
• Strong video editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent)
• Solid understanding of social media marketing strategies
• Experience with analytics tools to track performance and suggest improvements
• Creative mindset, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Portfolio of successful You Tube or social media projects
• Understanding of SEO for You Tube and social media optimisation
• Enthusiasm for digital storytelling and brand development
