Designer, Graphic Designer, Creative Design ​/ Digital Art

My client is looking to strengthen their design team with a driven and proactive individual, who's eager to learn and develop their existing skills, in an exciting and fast paced working environment.

• Produce and modify product and packaging design concept and artwork
• Prepare and check files for print and manufacture.
• Use the Adobe Creative Suite proficiently.
• Support and learn from other designers.
• Keep up to date with design technologies, techniques, finishes, materials and best practices.
• Working collaboratively with a team of product developers, merchandisers and QC to develop concepts for new and existing products
• Use your creativity and expertise identifying trends within the market to produce commercial and trend-led designs.
• Producing artworks tailored for a range of different customers and leading retailers.
• Problem solving for any issues that arise internally for a solution before approaching the customer.
• Willingness to assist colleagues in other departments during peak times.

• 3 years + creative design experience in brand creation and product design.
• Experience in designing and developing exciting fun toy and creative play brands and packaging with a real eye for developing and creating new product ideas for them.
• Capable of producing detailed product specifications, character art, surface print and pattern designs for new and existing ranges.
• 3D program knowledge would be a benefit but not essential
• Experience working on own brand and license brands and capable of following guidelines.
• Having excellent cutter guide, packaging, typography skills and art working skills
• Proficiency in using Apple Mac and Adobe Creative Cloud software, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Skilled in creating cutter guides and utilising basic Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience in packaging design, including the incorporation of back-of-pack information, hazard warnings, and barcodes.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all design work.
• Efficient and fast working, delivering high-quality results within given time frames.
• Demonstrates a strong work ethic, consistently working hard and diligently.
• Adaptive to changing project requirements and open to incorporating feedback and suggestions.
• Possesses excellent teamwork skills, effectively collaborating with colleagues and suppliers to achieve project goals.
• Excellent communication skills - confident speaking to internal and external customers.
• Ability to establish, develop and maintain relationships with professionalism.
• Organisation and prioritisation skills, with an exceptional eye for detail and ability to manage workloads efficiently.
• Highly motivated, creative and eager to conceptualise new designs.
• Proactive and solution driven individual who uses initiative and thrives on having responsibility and ownership.
