Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000neg

• Senior Estimator position dealing with construction & refurb projects within commercial, residential, healthcare, education and public sectors
• While focusing on estimating, also involves operations, procurement and additional tasks
• Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
• Visiting sites 1–2 times per month, typically within the North West
• Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Producing formal quotations to customers
• Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs, allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
• Keeping good photo, video & written documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
• Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to around £2.5m

• Must have estimating experience within the construction / refurb / fit out market sector
• Ideally come from or have experience working for a main-contractor
• Preferable to have a related qualification within the construction industry
• Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs
• Professional, highly organized and good attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
