Remuneration: £50,000 - £55,000neg

The role of Estimator – Construction & Refurb will involve:

* Senior Estimator position dealing with construction & refurb projects within; commercial, residential, healthcare, education and public sectors

* This role, whilst focus on estimating will include operations, procurement and additional tasks

* Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations

* Visit site 1-2 times per month, typically within the North West

* Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers

* Producing formal quotations to customers

* Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines

* Keep good photo, video & writing documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database

* Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers

* Working on projects ranging in value from £10k to circa £2.5m

The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Construction & Refurb with:

* Must have estimating experience within the construction / refurb / fit out market sector

* Ideally come from or have experience working for a main-contractor

* Preferable to have a related qualification within the construction industry

* Good technical knowledge and good understanding of industry processes, materials and costs

* Professional, highly organised and good attention to detail

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

* IT literate (Microsoft Office)

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment

* Good team player who also works well individually
