Job Title: Project Quantity Surveyor

Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester

As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will manage the financial and contractual administration of projects carried out across Manchester, working with an established housing provider and developer.

Responsibilities
  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned developments.
  • Prepare, monitor, and control project budgets, forecasts, and cash flows.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor and supplier packages.
  • Administer contracts, including variations and valuations.
  • Provide regular cost reports and ensure financial targets are met.
  • Work closely with design, delivery, and external consultant teams.
  • Support value engineering and cost optimisation initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience managing residential/social housing projects.
  • Knowledge of NHF schedule of rates.
  • Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
