Quantity Surveyor

Working on behalf of our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor based in Greater Manchester. We are currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyors & Senior Quantity Surveyors on a permanent basis.

• Manage commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts.
• Cost control and forecasting across multiple sites.
• Identify and manage variations and changes to scope.
• Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
• Prepare and present monthly cost/value reports to senior management.
• Maintain compliance with contractual and financial procedures.
• Work collaboratively with operational and client teams.

• Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor on civil engineering or residential infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of groundworks, roads, drainage, and external works (Desirable)
• Excellent understanding of various forms of contract (e.g. NEC, JCT).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• Full UK driving licence.

• 25 days holiday allowance + bank holidays.
• Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5pm.
