Quantity Surveyor

An established construction consultancy based in Manchester is looking to appoint a confident and capable Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take on more responsibility and develop within a business known for its strong APC support and varied project portfolio.

The Quantity Surveyor

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be working within a consultancy environment, with a focus on monitoring services, so experience in this area will be highly regarded. The role requires a self-sufficient Quantity Surveyor who can run smaller projects independently while also working as part of a wider team on larger schemes.

The ideal Quantity Surveyor will have client-facing confidence, strong communication skills, and the ability to present themselves professionally. This position would suit either a recently chartered or a senior-level professional on the cusp of becoming MRICS. Candidates who are not yet chartered but have strong, relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.

This consultancy offers one of the best APC programmes in the region, with a high success rate and structured support, making it a great opportunity for those working towards MRICS status.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3+ years of UK consultancy experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Experience with monitoring or fund monitoring services preferred
MRICS qualification desirable but not essential
Confident communicator with client-facing ability
Able to work independently and manage own workload
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
