My client is a leading National M&E contractor looking to add a Senior Mechanical Estimator to its North West team, focusing on high profile, technically complex mechanical and electrical projects across multiple sectors.

Senior Estimators are a valuable part of the business, where they effectively utilise experience and knowledge within a team to produce tenders and prepare competitive estimates. There is a team of 12 located in Leeds; you would be a standalone Estimator working alongside the Manchester pre‑construction team, with an opportunity to progress to Estimating Manager and beyond.

• Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed to deliver a submission following tender settlement.
• Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities.
• Prepare tender summaries and attend start‑up pre‑price and price meetings.
• Assist in preparation for settlement meetings enquiring whether risk register, prelims and labour rates have been done.
