The Junior Data and BI Developer plays a key role in strengthening the organisation’s enterprise Business Intelligence capability by translating business requirements into visually compelling reports and dashboards that clearly communicate meaningful insights. Working closely with the Group Data Team, Product Owners, SMEs, and Technology teams, the role focuses on refining and enhancing the existing reporting suite, developing new functionality, and investigating data issues with a thorough, analytical mindset.

Success requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly while championing high‑quality documentation, data governance, and continuous improvement. With a commitment to collaboration, ethical data use, and ongoing learning‑particularly within modern BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI‑the role supports informed decision‑making and helps drive the business forward in line with its entrepreneurial, customer‑focused, and high‑performance values.

• A strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret business requirements and translate data into meaningful insights
• Experience (or practical exposure) to data analytics, reporting, or performance insight roles in a commercial environment
• The ability to create clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards
• Excellent communication skills, with confidence to break down ambiguity and explain findings clearly
• A collaborative approach, working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality in all outputs
• An inquisitive, problem‑solving attitude with the confidence to investigate and resolve data issues
• Familiarity with modern BI tools, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Power BI / Fabric)
