From managing tenders and supplier relationships to supporting contract management and spend analysis, you’ll help ensure WCHG secures goods, services and works that meet our needs while delivering value and managing risk.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, providing advice, guidance and practical support, and contributing to continuous improvement in how procurement is delivered.

  • Supporting procurement strategies, category plans and value-for-money initiatives
  • Managing procurement pipelines and prioritising multiple projects effectively
  • Assisting with contract and supplier management, including renewals and performance monitoring
  • Maintaining and using e-procurement systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Analysing spend data and supporting reporting, KPIs and decision-making
  • Providing procurement advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
  • Contributing to continuous improvement of procurement processes and procedures
What we’re looking for

  • Experience working in a procurement role, ideally within the public sector or a similar environment
  • Experience managing tendering processes and supporting contract and supplier management
  • Confidence providing procurement advice and guidance to colleagues
  • Experience using e-procurement systems and analysing spend data
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders

What matters most to us is a genuine connection to our values and behaviours
