Responsibilities

  • Requirement gathering:
    Work with cross-government and internal stakeholders to drive the research and gathering of business requirements, assessing their value and prioritising them in the context of programme objectives and planning for delivery.
  • Process Modelling:
    Apply appropriate tools and techniques to map 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' business processes. Utilise models that support decision-making, design assurance, and planning.
  • Gap analysis:
    Evaluate requirements against the present state (where we are) and the target state (where we want to be), identifying cross-workstream gaps, dependencies, and opportunities to inform planning, risk management, and delivery sequencing.
  • Impact analysis:
    Analyse the organisational, operational, financial, and technical implications of proposed changes, providing insight into the scope, risks, and interdependencies for programme-level planning and delivery.
  • Benefit analysis:
    Support the identification, tracking, and assurance of programme-level benefits, ensuring alignment to outcomes and advising on business-related actions to maximise value realisation.
  • Stakeholder management and engagement:
    Engage with senior stakeholders, business owners, change leads and users to ensure alignment, resolve dependencies, and maintain a shared understanding of programme priorities and objectives.
  • Facilitation:
    Plan and facilitate workshops, governance sessions, and collaborative forums with stakeholders to clarify needs, resolve issues, and support decision-making across the programme.
  • Business solution design:
    Contribute to programme-level solution design, ensuring that business systems, workflows, and processes support the programme target operating model, policy intent, and integrated service delivery.
