Contract Coordinator – Electrics

Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time, 35 Hours per week

Salary: £32,881 per annum to £36,069 per annum (London weighted salary) or £28,886 per annum to £31,876 per annum (Regional salary), dependant on experience

Grade: 6

Reporting Office: London, Stratford or Manchester, Trafford

Persona: Agile Worker: 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office/working location (hybrid working)

About the role

L&Q’s Building Services Compliance department are looking for a Contract Coordinator to join the team. This is a great opportunity to work within Property Services.

The Contract Coordinators report to the Contract Manager for the electrical team within the compliance and engagement department. Providing contract management support to the electrical compliance pillar, the Contract Coordinators provide services to customers, contractors and support other business areas within Property Services and the wider organisation.

You will act as the first point of contact for contract queries, general enquiries and updates relating to the work of Compliance. You will ensure that contractors are held accountable for their work. You will be accountable for driving up contract compliance levels with contractors and in-house technical teams. Customer Service is essential in this role, with resident satisfaction and safety at the centre of everything that is done.

You will take ownership and work with determination to deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents in a timely manner.

Your impact in the role

On a daily basis, you will be linked to a number of contracts and will be responsible for ensuring that works are completed, customers are updated, payments are processed, and key information is entered onto the relevant databases. Organisation and communication skills are a must and there needs to be a strong focus on attention to detail when logging information.

Our Contract Coordinators contribute to overall team goals and targets and with that in mind, you will need to be able to work well in a team environment, assisting and helping others. We work with L&Q values in mind at all times. Working in an inclusive way and actively listening to others.

To be considered for this role candidates must display the following
  • Ability to communicate with a range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Competence of Microsoft Office software and a strong understanding of Excel
  • Knowledge of Contract Management.
  • Organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in working in a team and inclusive working practices.
