Job Summary

As an Associate Bid Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the bid management process for non-complex opportunities and those requiring lower levels of support. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals aspiring to become successful Bid Managers. You will take ownership of assigned bids, creating plans, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and working closely with account managers to develop cost models and commercials.

When not managing your own bids, you will provide coordination support to Bid Managers on complex opportunities.

What You Will Do
  • Manage non-complex bids and opportunities with enabled support.
  • Own the completion of assigned bid responses, including planning and execution.
  • Engage internal departments and external vendors to gather necessary information.
  • Collaborate with account managers to produce cost models and commercials.
  • Support Bid Managers on qualified complex opportunities.
  • Produce and manage bid plans, including resources, deliverables, timelines, and risk management.
  • Coordinate clarifications with customers and ensure timely, compliant submissions.
  • Author and review bid content, leveraging both custom and library material.
  • Initiate lessons learned processes and contribute to boilerplate libraries.
What We Expect of You
  • Ability to follow and apply the bid management process effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with sales teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365 applications.
  • Good understanding of technology and IT services concepts.
  • APMP Foundation certification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and action-oriented.
  • Confident in guiding subject matter experts and working collaboratively.
