A hugely successful machine tools provider in the UK, is recruiting for an experienced Sales Manager to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities for the Sales Manager include
  • To spearhead a product line that’s well established and recognized in the CNC metal fabrication industry
  • Develop key customer relationships, together with attracting and building on these relationships to maximise sales growth
  • Provide solutions for new customers, using your problem-solving skills to identify needs and formulate technical solutions
  • Support the Sales Director in negotiations, ensuring that both the Operational needs and costs are met and that the customer needs and expectations are supported
  • Provide input to commercial strategy programmes and innovation solutions, as well as budget planning in support of relevant projects and new business acquisition
  • To plan, attend and deliver demonstrations of equipment, support trade fairs and exhibitions throughout the year
Qualifications
  • Sales management experience within capital equipment or machine tool sales, especially around metal fabrication or laser cutting machinery
  • Strong negotiation skills with a consultative sales approach
  • Comfortable giving presentations
  • Networking, interpersonal, relationship building & stakeholder management skills
  • High levels of commercial awareness and an astute eye for identifying commercial opportunities.
  • Analytical and good with data; including, sales and marketing trends, benchmarking, joint business plans, and forecasting
  • Creative and strategic thinker, able to challenge established ways of doing things
