** Job Description

* Review requisitions.  Confer with suppliers to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
* Review bid proposals and negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
* Maintain procurement records such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
* Discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, suppliers, and others to determine the source of trouble and take corrective action.
* Month-end reporting of all inventories
* Enter all supplier receipts (daily) and movement ticket
* Monitor inventory (daily), assist with cycle counts
* Conduct physical inventory duties
* Arranges for disposal of surplus materials
* Takes individual responsibility for all aspects of part quality to provide Teijin Automotive with the product that conforms to both quality and function requirements.
* Uses and follows procedures and work instructions pertinent to tasks assigned.
* Takes individual responsibility for housekeeping in the specific work area and generally throughout the facility.
* Order and maintain office supplies.
* Prepare purchase orders
* Trains and acts as back up for:  + shipment scanning with computer verification  + movement tickets for incoming and outgoing products  + managing staging and storage areas  + usage of mechanical wrapper  + awareness of details on shipping documents  + uses and follows safety procedures for all trucks and dock levelers and ensures other are as well.
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S, safety, and environmental standards.
* Support safety functions by actively participating in safety training, safety meetings and following safety protocols.
* Know, understand, utilize, and follow IATF 16949 and/or ISO 14001 procedures.
* Attention to details related to customer specific requirements.
* Support continual improvement initiatives and look for continuous improvement ideas.
* Supports and exemplifies corporate values and commitment to quality, optimism, ownership, teamwork, and communication
* Other duties as assigned.
** SUPERVISORY REQUIREMENTS
** This position oversees the material shipping handlers.
** QUALIFICATIONS

** EDUCATION
* * Bachelor’s degree (B.

A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
** CERTIFICATE, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
** Valid Driver’s license.

Valid forklift license.
