AJ Chambers are exclusively working with a top Global Consultancy practice who assist organisations to unlock their full potential through comprehensive consulting, digital technologies, and business process management solutions. They help transform and optimise business operations so they can be more profitable, efficient, and competitive.

They are looking to expand their UK team with a BD Sales Manager who has recent work experience with accounting software firms.

Lead Generation & Hunting
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, referrals, and market research.
  • Create compelling sales pitches tailored to key target sectors and client needs.
  • Research organisations and individuals to uncover potential leads and decision‑makers.
Client Engagement & Networking
  • Arrange and conduct business meetings and one‑on‑one conversations with prospective clients.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build and nurture relationships.
  • Establish rapport with potential clients and maintain ongoing communication.
Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and implement sales objectives and KPIs for the team.
  • Plan and oversee new marketing initiatives aligned with sales goals.
  • Prepare and negotiate sales contracts in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to evaluate and refine sales strategies.
  • Work closely with marketing teams to build and deliver campaigns.
Reporting & Analysis
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, revenue, and client interactions.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on sales performance.
Customer Experience & Brand Loyalty
  • Develop initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Ensure a consistent and positive brand experience across all client touchpoints.

The role will be remote with client visits, ideally the successful candidate will be based in the North of England, ideally around the Manchester area.

Salary will be c £70,000 + Benefits

Only individuals with experience in Accounting Software will be considered
