Marketing Manchester, part of The Growth Company (GC) have an exciting new opportunity for an Executive Assistant, to the Managing Director.
A pivotal role providing high-level executive support to the Managing Director and wider leadership team, ensuring the smooth running of the function and helping Marketing Manchester meet the expectations of its partners and stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesProviding administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Managing Director’s office.
Providing executive support, including preparing papers and delivering a minute-taking service for meetings as required (SMT, IMAB Board and stakeholder meetings). Ensuring the Managing Director is appropriately updated, briefed and prepared at all times.
Acting as the first point of contact for the Managing Director’s day-to-day activities including email and diary management, liaising with and referring matters to other business units and group functions in a professional and efficient manner.
Managing diaries, booking meetings and rooms, ensuring accuracy and the effective use of the Managing Director’s time, and coordinating associated meeting papers.
Handling sensitive and confidential information and documentation with discretion, ensuring the secure management of both physical paperwork and electronic files.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships with the Managing Director, colleagues and external contacts.
Processing expenses, travel arrangements and purchase orders, ensuring all administration is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Strong written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Confident communicating effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
Skills RequiredProficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational, time management and administrative skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Experience supporting a Senior Director, Managing Director, CEO or equivalent.
Ability to quickly learn and use IT, HR and other business systems effectively.
