TWA, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham hospitals is a division of Manchester Foundation Trust. The Facilities staff provides an integral service to the smooth running of the Division. We are now looking for a Facilities Services Supervisor to work at Willowbank Lodge Intermediate Care Unit as part of our Withington division to help us continue to deliver excellent support services to the Trust.
As a Facilities Services Supervisor, you will lead a team of facilities assistants in providing essential and comprehensive cleaning and catering services to the site. You will also undertake essential cleaning and catering tasks to provide our patients with a safe and pleasant environment and meal service.
Responsibilities- Oversee the day-to-day activity in the domestic, linen, and catering department, ensuring that the service is delivered according to the service specification.
- Manage the allocation of existing staff and resources to ensure the smooth running of the service.
- Lead and coordinate the Facilities Services team at TWA hospitals and deliver a service through the Domestic, Catering, Linen and Portering Services that meets the demands of the stakeholders and customers serviced by the Soft Facilities Management team.
- Coordinate and liaise with equivalent Facilities supervisors where necessary to provide an efficient and compliant overall Soft Facilities Management service.
- Liaise with the clinical team to ensure that the facilities services support the clinical services.
- Work within a very busy department where no day is ever the same.
The post is part‑time 25 hours per week and involves an early start of 7am on some days.
