We have an exciting opportunity for an experience and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role will additional facility management responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the Building Manager.
The role is based at a modern office building, ideally located in central Manchester. You will deliver an exemplary tenant and visitor experience, understanding the importance of creating a community vibe in the building. You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Hours and salary£31,356 PA
Monday – Friday 8.00am – 5pm
Key Responsibilities Reception- Serve as the welcoming face of the building, delivering a professional meet-and-greet service for tenants, visitors, and contractors
- Act as the main point of contact for tenant and visitor queries, providing clear and helpful responses in a timely manner
- Maintain a well‑presented and organised reception area that reflects the high standards of the building
- Managing deliveries, including couriers and post
- General administration as required
- Build and maintain effective relationships with tenants, contractors, and key stakeholders, including the Building Management Team
- Schedule and oversee contractor visits, ensuring all works are carried out in line with Building Management requirements
- Assist with the management of building documentation, service records, and reports, ensuring accuracy and timely updates to the Building Management system
- Daily site check, ensuring all is in order
- Logging/reporting issues, seeing through to resolution
- Collaborate with the Building Management Team to review and update policies and procedures, ensuring they remain current and effective
- Assist with any other reasonable requests from the Building Management team
- Prepare weekly site reports to send to Building Management Team on all activities that have taken place during the week (contractors, visitors, viewings, cleaning etc).
- Prepare weekly tenant email to send on a Monday with any relevant building news
- Ensure comms are professional and timely informing tenants of any issues and the resolution in place
- Prepare a monthly tenant newsletter
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role and are ready for a new challenge
- You have facilities management experience (desirable)
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self‑motivated and thrive in an environment where you are required to multitask
- Excellent problem resolution skills along with outstanding communication and active listening skills
- Competent Microsoft Office / App / Social Media user and willing to learn in house systems and processes
