Salary: £28,000
Job Type: Full‑Time, Permanent
Please note, this role currently requires the flexibility to work overtime on Saturday or Sunday for a period of 4 hours. This work can be completed from home and at any time that suits your schedule.
OverviewWe are working with a well‑established organisation known for providing high‑quality, customer‑focused services and personalised support. They are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join their operations team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys varied daily tasks, and is confident managing communication channels, processing payments, and coordinating bookings. You will play an integral part in ensuring smooth service delivery across the business.
Key Responsibilities- Handle incoming and outgoing calls and emails, maintaining a high standard of professionalism. Ensure all correspondence is responded to promptly and effectively.
- Manage general internal and external enquiries. Provide accurate information or escalated issues where necessary.
- Take and process customer payments efficiently. Maintain accurate financial records in line with internal procedures.
- Schedule and manage bookings for various services, appointments, or deliveries. Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination.
- Provide day‑to‑day administrative assistance across the wider team. Support office operations and ensure processes run efficiently.
- Prior experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Professional and confident phone and email manner.
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment. Able to manage competing demands without compromising quality.
- High level of accuracy, particularly when handling bookings and payment information.
- Confident using office software such as email, spreadsheets, and word processing tools.
- Able to manage enquiries sympathetically, politely, and efficiently. Strong problem‑solving skills to resolve issues promptly.
- Proactive approach to tasks and confident in taking ownership of challenges.
