Tax & Estate Planning Team PAManchestr City Centre - Hybrid after 6 months A leading law firm is seeking an experienced and proactive Team PA to support fee earners within its Tax and Estate Planning team. This is a key role for someone who enjoys being at the centre of a busy practice, delivering high-quality secretarial and PA support while ensuring an excellent client experience at all times.The

Role
The Team PA will provide comprehensive organisational and administrative support to fee earners, helping to ensure diaries, deadlines and workflows are managed efficiently and accurately. The role involves close collaboration with fee earners, the Central Processes Team and wider support teams.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing fee earners' diaries and task lists to ensure deadlines and appointments are met
  • Coordinating document production using digital dictation and case management systems
  • Creating and maintaining client, matter and contact records in line with firm procedures
  • Preparing, formatting and finalising legal documents in accordance with house style
  • Proof-reading work to ensure accuracy and attention to detail
  • Managing file administration including opening, closing, billing and archiving
  • Booking meetings, arranging travel and accommodation, and coordinating refreshments
  • Attending team meetings and preparing minutes
  • Communicating professionally with clients and colleagues by phone and email
  • Supervising administrative team members and supporting team workflow
About You The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-focused and confident working in a fast-paced legal environment. Essential skills and experience include:
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team-working mindset with a proactive approach
  • Experience using case management systems, ideally Partner for Windows or similar
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including document formatting and tracked changes
  • Audio typing experience or qualification
  • Professional presentation and a courteous, client-focused manner
Desirable:
  • Experience working with databases
  • Working knowledge of Excel and Power Point
