Job overview

The Patient Access Reception Service is responsible for providing an efficient and high-quality Elective Access Reception Service to support the Trust. Ensuring a comprehensive and confidential service is delivered to patients, relatives. Support and work with other disciplines of staff and provide a friendly and approachable patient reception service.

The service operate extended hours in the evenings and at the weekend to ensure wider patient access. The post holder will be required to work flexibly to cover these hours of operation and will be expected to work in receptions at North Manchester General Hospital and/or The Peter Mount Building at MRI to reception MFT clinics when cover is required.

Main duties of the job

Develop and maintain effective relationships with users of the Reception Service through excellent communication and customer service skills particularly colleagues with the Health Records and wider Booking and Scheduling Team.
