The Administration Assistant will act as the initial point of contact for the service, responding to enquiries professionally and sensitively. The role involves managing referrals into CAMHS teams, maintaining patient electronic records, and providing comprehensive clerical support to ensure efficient service delivery for children, young people, and their families.
Main Duties- Act as first point of contact, handling telephone enquiries from external agencies, service users, relatives, and staff
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence in line with Trust policies
- Collate information to support effective referral management
- Organise and book meetings, training sessions, and conferences
- Attend meetings and take accurate minutes when required
- Maintain patient electronic records and ensure data accuracy
- Provide responsive administrative support to CAMHS teams

Person SpecificationQualifications (Essential):
- GCSE level education, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent
Qualifications (Desirable):
Experience (Essential):
- Experience in a busy administrative environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritise workload
- NHS/health administrative experience
- Experience using electronic patient records
