Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming front‑of‑house service
- Manage incoming calls, emails and visitors, ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed
- Carry out general administrative duties including data entry, filing, and document preparation
- Support the smooth running of the school office and maintain accurate records
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion at all times
- Liaise with staff, parents and external agencies in a calm, helpful manner
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an education, health or legal office setting, or a reception/administration role
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Proven experience delivering high‑quality customer service
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Experience working in a school or educational environment
- Experience using MIS systems such as SIMS
- First Aid qualification (or willingness to train)
