Receptionist, Administrative​/Clerical

The outpatient receptionist is an integral part of the team at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital. We are looking for someone who is proficient, organized, has good time‑keeping and excellent people and communication skills. They are required to provide a comprehensive service to patients and perform clerical duties to a high standard. A key part of the role will be to work alongside our MDT to ensure that all tasks are completed promptly and to a high standard.

These tasks include:

• Greeting patients attending their outpatient appointment
• Checking patients in on the Hive system
• Booking less than 6‑week follow‑up appointments for all patients attending clinic
• Answering phone calls and email queries
• Completing the end‑of‑day cashing up process
• Arranging return patient transport
