Audit Associate - Manchester Hybrid WorkingMy client is a leading professional services firm seeking an Audit Associate to join their growing Manchester audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated ACA or ACCA student (2nd or 3rd year) to gain hands-on experience across a diverse and expanding client portfolio while receiving full study and career support.
The role is ideal for someone organised, commercially minded, and proactive, looking to develop technical and client management skills in a collaborative environment.The Role As an Audit Associate, you will:
- Work on all aspects of statutory audit engagements, from planning to completion, including group and single-entity financial statements
- Support a varied client base, including AIM-listed organisations, complex groups with overseas links, owner-managed businesses, and charities/NFPs
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and deliver high-quality client service
- Supervise, coach, and mentor trainees
- Benefit from one-to-one support from qualified staff and managers to develop your technical skills
- Gain experience working on large and complex clients, providing opportunities for career progression
- Studying ACA or ACCA (2nd or 3rd year)
- Prior audit and accounts experience, preferably with exposure to CCH AP/AA and Inflo
- Organised, motivated, and commercially aware
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise with clients and partners
- Positive, flexible, and professional approach, with a natural team player attitude
- Preferred: driving licence and ability to travel to client premises
- 35-hour working week with hybrid working (up to three days at home; core hours 10:00-16:00)
