Position: Graduate Trainee Chartered Accountant (ACA)

Overview

We are seeking graduates looking to start a career in accountancy. Alexander & Co is an award winning, dynamic and innovative firm that has become one of the North West’s leading independent firms of chartered accountants, tax advisors and business consultants.

Based in our modern spacious office in the heart of Manchester City Centre, you will enroll in our graduate training programme. This provides a wide range of benefits including additional paid study leave (in addition to statutory and annual holidays), mentoring and structured learning and training.

Our graduates study a level 7 Apprenticeship Programme over three years, meaning you can be exam qualified with the ICAEW within two years, with additional training and support post exam qualification.

Requirements

Applicants should have an average of at least aAB at A level and be predicted/achieved at least a 2:1 honours degree. Whilst we welcome applicants who have studied finance and accounting at degree level, this isn’t a prerequisite. Personality and a willingness to learn is just as important and we welcome applicants across other degree subjects.
