A well-established and highly regarded accountancy and business advisory practice is looking to recruit an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior to join its growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop both their accounts preparation and audit experience within a supportive, quality-focused environment.
The firm is known for delivering insight-led audit and accounting services, working closely with clients to understand their businesses and provide meaningful financial assurance and advice.

The RoleAs an Accounts & Audit Semi-Senior, you will:
- Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
- Assist in the planning and execution of audit assignments
- Perform audit fieldwork, testing and analytical procedures
- Prepare high-quality working papers and audit documentation
- Support senior team members with audit completion and reporting
- Liaise with clients to gather information and respond to queries
- Ensure work is completed in line with regulatory and internal quality standards
You will ideally have:
- Experience working within an accountancy practice
- Exposure to both accounts preparation and audit work
- Be AAT qualified or ACA / ACCA part-qualified
- A good understanding of UK GAAP and basic audit principles
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confident communication skills and a professional approach
- A desire to continue developing your technical skills and career
