Are you looking for a fresh challenge within Audit with excellent progression opportunities and benefits? A Top 20 Firm with offices in Manchester are looking for an Audit Senior to join their expanding Corporate Audit team.

The Corporate Audit team in Manchester works with a variety of corporate and owner‑managed businesses, charities and other not‑for‑profit organisations. Clients range from start‑ups to well‑established, prestigious clients and listed clients.

They are looking for an Audit Senior (newly qualified, qualified senior, or due to qualify) to join their team and develop their experience. This is a challenging and varied role that will provide lots of opportunity for growth.

Responsibilities
  • Be the point of contact for clients on a day‑to‑day basis, demonstrating excellent writing, research and presentation skills.
  • Assist in planning, execution and finalisation of all areas of the audit assignment for manager or partner review.
  • Identify areas requiring improvement in the client’s business processes and possible recommendations, and prepare and deliver Audit Findings Reports to the client.
  • Take primary responsibility for monitoring progress against budget, and when the actual differs from the budget, gain a full understanding for the manager.
  • Lead and coach team members, and manage relationships with clients.
  • Ensure the team’s audit work and reporting is of high quality.
Qualifications
  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Have significant auditing and accounting experience (ideally UK GAAP).
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality client service.
