Permanent Full Time Mid Level Diesel Technician – Ryder – Manchester, New Hampshire.

- Hourly Pay: $31.14 per hour
- Certification Bonus: $100 for each new ASE Certification obtained up to $700
- Quarterly Bonus: up to $500 every quarter (four times per year)
- Tool Box/Tool Allowance
- Schedule:
Monday–Friday, second shift 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm
- Annual merit pay increases

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Vocational or technical post‑secondary degree or certifications (preferred)
- Basic tools required
- Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines, including routine preventive maintenance such as oil changes, brake and tire work
- Two or more years of combined classroom training and work experience (preferred)
- Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A (preferred)
- Must obtain CDL within six months after hire
- Pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, Ryder road test, Ryder background & vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last three years
- Perform vehicle maintenance and repair duties
- Conduct standard vehicle maintenance and component inspections and repairs
- Execute preventive maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic problems, utilizing diagnostic computer when applicable
- Identify root cause of basic failures and perform required repairs
- Replace defective components as instructed
- Perform facility maintenance duties
- Interact with customers/drivers to determine nature of complaint when assigned a task
- Utilize shop management system and electronic documentation
- Work in accordance with all federal, provincial, and corporate compliance guidelines (safety, DOT, MOT)
- Perform other support duties as required to support operations, including but not limited to service island support
