Within our U.S. Sales and R&D office in Manchester, NH, we are seeking an energetic Inside Sales Specialist to help manage pre‑purchase order sales activities. The position will be a member of the Inside Sales Team, reporting to a Director of Sales, and working closely with our outside sales, program management, production operations, business development, and quality assurance departments. Responsibilities of the role include regular customer phone engagement, new lead management and qualification, price quotation generation, open quote follow‑up, ensuring timely responses to customer order inquiries, and daily general support to the outside sales team.
Job Responsibilities- Daily engagement via phone with customers to facilitate initial lead qualification, quote requests, purchase order updates, and order status requests.
- Regular engagement with outside sales team to support marketing collateral requirements, customer meeting coordination, quote requests, and other supporting functions to facilitate the team booking's goal.
- Identify organizational structures of, and establish relationships with, customer accounts, targeting Buyers, Supply Chain Managers, Subcontract Administrators and Program Office representatives.
- In partnership with other Sales team members, manage return business opportunities at existing accounts; obtain and document customer order forecast data, support quotations for product demand, and identify opportunities for long‑term purchase agreements.
- Support generation of non‑standard quote and proposal documentation in support of outside sales and customer requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in electronics systems/sub‑systems to defense or aerospace OEMs; candidates with relevant experience elsewhere will be considered.
- Demonstrated experience engaging customers via phone, supporting their requests and communicating information (quoting, order status, and other sales related tasks).
- Associate’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent program; equivalent experience will be accepted.
- High degree of personal integrity, leadership, and interpersonal skills; extremely detail‑oriented personality.
- Ability to work in a multinational, multi‑cultural corporation.
- Extraordinary communication skills, proficient in both verbal and written English; teamwork abilities demonstrated.
- Experience utilizing a Customer Resource Management (CRM) tool;
Salesforce experience preferred. - Position located in our Sales office in Manchester, NH.
- Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen and background check.
