The Retail Associate Manager (RAM) works as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life. The RAM is a brand ambassador who creates energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast‑paced, fun environment where customer needs are the first focus. They build new and deepen existing relationships by uncovering our customers’ needs and have a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions.
This role is a learning role in which you will work with your team to build required skills while assisting the Retail Store Manager in all operational duties.
- Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in‑store.
- Explore individual needs and provide hands‑on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in store.
- Side‑by‑side sell to find personalized solutions beyond the bare‑bones device and service plan that keep customers connected to the people and lifestyles they love.
- Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and shared expertise.
- Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily operations and coaching.
- Show how our ever‑expanding coverage stacks up in customers’ neighborhoods, providing them with a lightning‑fast LTE network.
- Explain why plans and services will let customers live unlimited, feel the love, stay connected and go further.
- Demonstrate how we’re redefining wireless, from device and account inspection to review and troubleshooting.
- Complete training on in‑store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems and reference resources.
- Build relationships across channels, including business and customer service, to own the customer experience, resolve issues, create a seamless environment, identify and handoff small‑business leads, and develop strong peer relationships.
- Leadership and competitive drive.
- Confidence to succeed in a fast‑paced sales environment.
- Willingness to lead the team, share best practices, and resolve customer issues.
- Effective operational, financial, and performance management skills.
- Excellent communication skills with team and customers.
- Prior wireless sales experience.
